The Boom is Back – Dublin Hotel Occupancy Doubles

Good News for Hoteliers in Dublin As The Good Times Are Back!

Incredibly, after a ten year economic crash the good times would appear to be back in Dublin, the Capital City of Ireland.  Marked by fast rising property prices, a huge increase in the number of white construction company and tradesmens’ vans clogging up the main arteries into the city every morning, and many hotels reporting that their occupancy rates have doubled since the dark days of 2007 and 2008.

The good people of Ireland have shown astonishing resilience in the face of adversity, such as by property repossessions, bankruptices, job losses and so much more – as are common with major economic downturns.  Nevertheless, the entreprenuerial drive and spirit is still there, and once again fortunes are there for the making in the city of Dublin, for those with the strength and determination.

And while Hoteliers report stiff competition, slashed prices and higher expenses the fact remains that the hotel industry in Dublin is once again in the middle of a boom.
